time, Whitby and Scarborough are 5 and 15 miles away respectively.

Surfing takes place at Sandsend and Scarborough south beach
Walking
Robin Hoods Bay is one end of the coast to coast walk and the Opportunities for
walking in the surrounding areas are endless from the footpaths. There is the
footpath/cycle track along the old Whitby to Scarborough Railway which follows
the edge of the coast on most of its route. Bikes can be hired from just up the
road in Hawsker.
